Our Access Aged Care service provides you and your residents with an integrated medical support team that is able to provide a strong focus on individual patient care and customer service.

The Specialist Consult

Telehealth consults are booked using our secure, easy-to use Access Telehealth platform. This platform can be run on a PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone.

The GP sends the specialist referral to Access Telehealth

An appointment is mage to suit the specialist, the resident and the home. Waiting times are typically 2 – 4 weeks.

Consults are then conducted in the Aged Care Facility via the Access Telehealth platform.

The resident’s family and GP can attend in person with the resident, or via their own video link.

The Specialist provides comprehensive reports to the resident’s GP within a week of the consult so appropriate care can commence.

Telehealth video calls are fully supported by the Access Telehealth technical support team.
