Since May 2019, Access Telehealth has been linking specialists to our practice patients in rural and remote NSW via telehealth. Access Telehealth has a broad range of Specialists available across various disciplines offering a secure and user-friendly interface to book appointments and video consultation technology.

Over 100 appointments have been organised, with seamless documentation transfer between Specialist and GPs following the consultations. We are able to offer multidisciplinary care to our patients, where local or visiting specialists are not available with feedback from patients, GPs and practice teams being extremely positive.

My experience with Access Telehealth has been excellent. The specialist consults have been very prompt, far quicker than awaiting an appointment with a local specialist, and they have provided a thorough and comprehensive assessment and treatment plan. The feedback that I have received from my patients has been great also, with many positive comments about not needing to leave the facility.
